In AA there is a phrase, self-will run riot. I know Jews aren't usually alcoholics, they are far too dignified and lofty for that, but I actually did meet a couple in AA. I will have to emphasize repeatedly that AA is of divine origin, and the Big Book is a thousand times better than that detestable Torah.
You remember how the rabbi was incensed at Candace, talking down to her: "You have decided that you, Candace Owens, are more knowledgeable and wise than Lord Sacks..." Well she may not be more learned than Lord Sacks, but she showed herself more wise than rabbi Barclay in Malibu. And a large part of it is having a little humility. A lack of self-conceit, not being so self-willed. Candace feels that she has a boss, and the rabbis feel that they are the boss. In the Torah, Jacob wrestles with God and prevails. In the Talmud it's even worse, the rabbis defeat God in a debate: "My children have defeated me!" This is actually what I think the last straw was for Candace and the Daily Wire, that debate with the rabbi. A black woman defeated a rabbi whose congregation could probably buy a small country. And the comment section, well let's just say humility is good PR.
