On tweaking

You might notice, I have a small talent for tweaking commonly received notions, and making them entirely different, sometimes the opposite of their former selves. In the past, I have also been engaged in what the common sort call tweaking, staying up too long under the influence of certain chemicals. If not for this, I would never have finished that book on Machiavelli, that was a bastard. I thought, at least this should be read by all political science majors. Nothing yet, maybe some day I will break into the mainstream.
