The Carthaginian general Hannibal is much admired by military mongoloid meatheads for his ruthlessness and cunning. "Har har, Hannibal, he was the guy." "Oh yes, har har, Hannibal."
In the Second Punic War, he entered Italy from the north, famously crossing the Alps with his elephants. Before reaching the Alps, the army of 80,000 had to cross over to the European continent at the Strait of Gibraltar, and make their way across what are now Spain and France first. This presented a considerable logistical challenge, and another Hannibal, a different Hannibal, suggested the army should eat the people they met along the way. This is where they got the name Hannibal the Cannibal.
