If you want a perfect microcosm of the insanity of Western civilization

Just think, there are idiots who spend a lot of money and risk their lives to go climb Mount Everest. When the real mountain they have to climb involves the destruction of the ego. So not only is all their effort in vain, it's completely contrary to what they ought to be doing. All this stuff was necessary, you mongoloids had to conquer the earth and that wasn't going to happen with enlightenment on the scene. 

The whole idea of Western Civilization is a myth anyway, the Greeks got their math and geometry from Mesopotamia and Egypt, and their philosophy came from India. But the Greeks were white, so it suited the Civilizing Mission of colonialism to exaggerate the Greek Miracle and obscure the foreign influences. If you guys want to get your heads screwed on straight, you will have to fix your intellectual history and learn how we got here. You probably don't know anything about Bacon, but he was the greatest genius the world has ever seen. To realize they've been able to prevent the educated public from even knowing his name, well it doesn't say a lot for our intellectual curiosity, does it?
